My book entitled Exploring Digital Libraries: Foundations, Practice, Prospects was published in January 2014 by Facet Publishing, the publisher for CILIP (the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals) in the UK, and by ALA Neal-Schuman, an imprint of the American Library Association. It has been selected as the textbook for a master's-level digital libraries course by several schools of library and information science in the UK and US. Calhoun, Karen. 2006. “The Changing Nature of the Catalog and Its Integration with Other Discovery Tools.” Library of Congress. This was a Library of Congress-commissioned report containing recommendations on the future of the library catalog in the age of discovery systems like Google.
